Built in the 15th century, this is one of the oldest and most prestigious properties in Chora. The historiy of the estate goes back to 1453 when the original owners, among 100 Byzantine families, fled to Patmos after the fall of Constantinople.
Completely refurbished a few years ago, the owners have preserved the sense of place and history in the traditional Patmian style, with a few modern touches.
In a quiet part of Chora, just behind the town hall, one of this house’s hidden assets is its glorious interior courtyard, which unfolds around three impressive byzantine arches and the original well that dates from 1474. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, this unique heritage property is very convenient for a large family or a group of friends.
